Roads to ruin
Re “Caltrans official takes job at MTA,” Oct. 2
As I travel across the state, as well as the country, I am dismayed at the deplorable amount of litter and graffiti lining the freeways of Los Angeles. Every sign, every column and every overpass seems to be covered in graffiti. It is particularly problematic near downtown L.A.
I can’t help but wonder how many Caltrans administrators have seen this on their daily commute and chose to do -- nothing.
