Update: The Galaxy will complete the first third of its 2009 regular season tonight and still has only one victory to show for its efforts. That said, Coach Bruce Arena’s side is unbeaten in its last seven games and, if it avoids defeat, will achieve its longest unbeaten streak in nine years. The Galaxy went 11 games without a loss in 2000. Forward Edson Buddle remains questionable because of tightness in his left quadriceps. Seven of the Galaxy’s 11 goals this season have come in the final 15 minutes of regulation or in stoppage time. FC Dallas, under former Southern Methodist coach Schellas Hyndman, has the worst record in MLS this season.
