B.J. Upton’s ninth-inning homer against Luis Vizcaino capped the biggest comeback in Tampa Bay history and gave the Rays an 8-7 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Friday night.

The defending American League champions fell behind 7-0 before coming back with plenty of help from the last-place Indians.

The Rays scored two runs on throwing errors and a third on a wild pitch before Ben Zobrist led off the bottom of the eighth with a solo homer that made it 7-7.
