LACMA tickets are too expensive

Re “Before the Ash,” by Suzanne Muchnic, April 29: Wait a minute! I would love to go to the Pompeii exhibition at LACMA -- but for me, even the $25 ticket prices are steep!
This ire was compounded by the comment first that the museum hopes to make a profit, it seems, on the exhibition (the goal of a museum?) and, what’s worse, by the fact that the exhibit for which it wants to charge me $25 is being sponsored by Bank of America -- which, as I recall, has already received a good deal of my money through a government bailout plan!
