King me
Why all the letters bashing the Kings? In business, there are two ways to be successful: increase revenue or lower costs. Dean Lombardi and Tim Leiweke realize that increasing Kings revenue (i.e., making the playoffs) is a risky proposition, so they are focused on managing costs at the expense of on-ice performance. As soon as fans accept that the Kings are only a business venture for AEG, the more at peace they will be.

To fans like last week’s letters writer who are upset by The Times’ rather limited (and that’s being kind) hockey coverage, here’s what I do to guarantee the NHL is always the first sport seen in the paper each morning. Read the paper from back to front.
