As a professional musician, I found a glaring omission in an otherwise excellent review of “Louis & Keely Live at the Sahara†[“It Does Have That Swing,†March 24]. Charles McNulty makes reference to “the terrific seven-piece band, front-loaded with fabulous horns.†He concludes with: “But it’s the snazzy live music that lifts ‘Louis & Keely’ into a realm of tingly exuberance.â€
What is ironic is that nowhere is there any mention of who the musical director or the fabulous horn players actually are. What a shame.
