Robin Williams needs heart surgery and must cancel the remainder of his one-man comedy show, “Weapons of Self-Destruction,” his publicist said Thursday.
The 57-year-old actor needs an aortic valve replacement, Diane Rosen said in a news release. Williams’ representatives would not say when the comedian was admitted to the hospital or where he was.
Williams had canceled four shows in Florida this week after experiencing shortness of breath. The 80-city tour is expected to resume in the fall.
