at Utah 101, Houston 94: Carlos Boozer had 20 points and 17 rebounds in his best game since his return from a three-month absence and the Jazz won its ninth in a row.
at Chicago 110, Golden State 88: John Salmons had 23 points and seven rebounds and Joakim Noah had 14 points and 17 rebounds for the Bulls, who pulled into a tie with Milwaukee for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
Boston 115, at New Jersey 111: Paul Pierce scored 31 points and made a key 17-footer with 20.9 seconds to play.
at Miami 135, Phoenix 129: Dwyane Wade scored 35 points and tied his career high with 16 assists and the Heat spoiled Shaquille O’Neal’s return. O’Neal fouled Wade with 1:21 left, then stood over him Muhammad Ali-style until Udonis Haslem nudged him out of the way to help up Miami’s best player. Wade made both free throws for a 127-119 lead, and cries of “M-V-P” drowned out an anti-Shaq chant from some in the crowd.
at New York 109, Atlanta 105: Larry Hughes scored 23 points and the Knicks ended a three-game losing streak.
at Cleveland 91, Milwaukee 73: LeBron James scored 23 points and the Cavaliers became the first team to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
at Portland 107, Indiana 105: Brandon Roy scored 28 points, including a pair of game-clinching free throws with 1.7 seconds left.
at Oklahoma City 88, Washington 83: Russell Westbrook and Thabo Sefolosha made big baskets in the final two minutes to lead the Thunder to its first three-game winning streak of the season.
Memphis 118, at Clippers 95: Al Thornton scored 25 points for the Clippers.
