Here’s an adventurous weekend: Fly from Los Angeles to Tahiti in French Polynesia, spend three nights and then fly back. The package is from a new online travel agency based in L.A.
The deal: For prices starting at $999 per person, double occupancy, you get nonstop round-trip air between LAX and Papeete on Air Tahiti Nui, airport transfers and three nights at the Hotel Le Mandarin Tahiti. The deal, which is subject to availability, is good for several departure dates in February and March. You must book by Jan. 22.
