Celtics beat 76ers with last-second shot
Associated Press
Ray Allen took a perfect pass from Paul Pierce and made a baseline three-point shot with 0.5 of a second left to give the Boston Celtics their 12th straight victory, 100-99 over the host Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.
Andre Iguodala had just made a fallaway jumper for a 99-97 lead for the Sixers -- who led the entire fourth quarter until the final basket.
Etc.
Jameer Nelson could miss the rest of the season for the Orlando Magic because of a torn labrum in his right shoulder. . . . New Orleans’ Chris Paul has a groin strain and is day to day.
