LeBron James becomes youngest to pass 12,000 points
at Cleveland 101, Toronto 83: LeBron James scored 33 points and passed 12,000 points for his career, and the Cavaliers remained flawless at home, improving to 23-0. James became the fastest player in NBA history to reach the 12,000-point plateau. At 24 years 35 days, he did it quicker than Kobe Bryant, who was 25 years 220 days when he did it.
at Houston 107, Chicago 100: Yao Ming scored 28 points and Luis Scola matched a career high with 18 rebounds for the Rockets.
at Denver 104, San Antonio 96: The Spurs were without Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. Ginobili has a bruised hip, and Coach Gregg Popovich gave Duncan and Parker the night off after the overtime win at Golden State on Monday. Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points for the Nuggets.
at New Jersey 99, Milwaukee 85: Vince Carter had his fifth career triple-double as the Nets spoiled Richard Jefferson’s homecoming. It was the first time back in New Jersey for Jefferson, who spent his first seven seasons with the Nets, after being dealt last summer.
Minnesota 116, at Indiana 111: Randy Foye scored 19 points and the Timberwolves ended a three-game skid.
