Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne will be out four to six weeks after undergoing surgery Friday to repair a fractured bone in his left hand.
Selanne was struck by a shot from Karlis Skrastins during the second period of the Ducks’ 3-1 loss Thursday at Dallas. He flew back to California after the game and underwent the procedure at the Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center in Los Angeles. Selanne shared the team lead with 14 goals and was third in points, with 21.
The Ducks recalled right wing Dan Sexton from Manitoba of the American Hockey League. The 22-year-old had one goal and three points in five games with the Moose. Before that, he had 13 goals and 26 points for Bakersfield of the ECHL.
