at Chicago 8, Kansas City 7: Scott Podsednik hit a go-ahead single in the eighth inning and A.J. Pierzynski hit a two-run home run in the seventh for the White Sox, whose starter, Mark Buehrle, again failed to win for the first time since pitching a perfect game against Tampa Bay on July 23.
