GAME OF THE DAY
Reseda Cleveland (16-4, 6-1) at Woodland Hills El Camino Real (15-6, 4-3).
Today at 3 p.m.
Why it matters: Cleveland is tied for first place in the West Valley League with Chatsworth, but El Camino Real is lurking and all three schools are in contention to make it to Dodger Stadium on May 30 for the City Section Division I championship. Cleveland defeated the Conquistadores, 3-2, in eight innings Wednesday. El Camino Real has been strengthened by the return of Arizona-bound All-City shortstop Alex Mejia, who had been sidelined because of a hamstring injury. The game is being taped for airing on LA36 on Saturday at 6 p.m.
