Re “As charges are filed, friends and family mourn 3 killed in crash,” April 11
California Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two young students were senselessly killed because, according to your story, a drunk driver -- whose license had been revoked three years ago -- was allowed to go free after being convicted of drunk driving in the past. Instead of getting jail time, an individual who obviously posed a threat to society was ordered to take “alcohol education classes.”
Do you think this senseless tragedy might send a message to prosecutors and judges that maybe a slap on the wrist and night school isn’t the answer?
