UCLA Extension gets a new home

UCLA Extension has a new and expanded home in downtown Los Angeles for its offerings of career-oriented and personal interest classes.
A formal opening was held last week at the new location, which includes 13 classrooms, at the Figueroa Courtyard complex, 261 S. Figueroa St.
UCLA Extension previously had several other locations around downtown, most recently at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center. Catering to the downtown workforce as well as to the growing population of downtown residents, the facility will allow an expansion of class offerings to more than 60 for the fall academic quarter in such topics as business, real estate, writing, interior design, foreign languages and public policy.
