FilmL.A., the nonprofit that coordinates on-location film permits for the city and much of Los Angeles County, has tapped a Hollywood outsider to run the organization.
FilmL.A. hired Paul Audley, formerly Arizona state director for conservation group Trust for Public Land, as president. He replaces Steve MacDonald, who resigned this year.
Audley, 51, a former mayor of Fairfield, Conn., and former Connecticut deputy secretary of state, was tapped for his skill as a consensus builder and for his experience working with nonprofit organizations.
