The last day to register to vote in California in the Nov. 4 general election is Monday. For information about registering, go to latimes.com/voteonline.
Voters may request mailed (absentee) ballots until Oct. 28. Completed ballots must arrive at the elections office by the time the polls close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 4. For more information about voting by mail, go to latimes.com/votebymail.
