Watson wins OK for prostate drug

Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. won U.S. approval to sell a prostate enlargement treatment as the Corona-based company tries to expand beyond manufacturing generic medicines.
The Food and Drug Administration cleared the once-a-day pill Rapaflo, Watson said. The drug is designed to reduce symptoms of an enlarged prostate including urinary pain.
