at New York 138, Golden State 125: Chris Duhon had a franchise-record 22 assists, David Lee had career highs of 37 points and 21 rebounds, Al Harrington scored 36 points and the Knicks rang up 82 points in the first half against the defenseless Warriors, who completed a winless five-game Eastern trip.

Boston 89, at Charlotte 84: Paul Pierce had 19 points, leading six Celtics who scored in double figures, and the defending NBA champions won their eighth consecutive game to improve to 16-2.

at Orlando 110, Indiana 96: Dwight Howard had a season-high 32 points and 21 rebounds and added four blocks, and Rashard Lewis scored 24 points for the Magic. Danny Granger led the Pacers with 27.

at Houston 103, San Antonio 84: Luther Head scored 21 points in place of injured Tracy McGrady, and Ron Artest had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Rockets. McGrady sat out his second straight game because of a sore left knee.

New Jersey 105, at Utah 88: Devin Harris scored 34 points and Vince Carter had 22 as the Nets handed the Jazz its second home defeat in 10 games this season. Utah was without injured forward Carlos Boozer.

Cleveland 97, at Milwaukee 85: LeBron James scored 11 straight points for the Cavaliers late in the fourth quarter and finished with 32, despite going without a field goal for more than 15 minutes in the second half.

Denver 106, at Minnesota 97: Chauncey Billups scored a season-high 27 points in three quarters, and Carmelo Anthony had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Nuggets, who have beaten the Timberwolves seven straight times.

Dallas 101, at Sacramento 78: Jason Terry scored 24 points, Dirk Nowitzki had 19 and the Mavericks pulled away to win for the sixth time in seven games. Former Laker Devean George scored all 13 of his points in the second half for Dallas. The Kings have lost six in a row.

Atlanta 102, at Washington 98: Al Horford converted a tiebreaking three-point play with 12.4 seconds left and the Hawks dropped the Wizards to 2-12.

at Clippers 97, Miami 96: Zach Randolph and Al Thornton scored 27 points apiece for the Clippers, and the Heat’s Dwyane Wade, who had 26 points, missed a desperation three-point attempt at the buzzer.
