Reform Gallery, a longtime champion of midcentury furniture manufactured in L.A. and studio crafts by California artisans, is clearing its inventory at 30% to 60% off through December. In preparation for a move to an as-yet-unnamed location in early 2009, owner Gerard O’Brien will be offering a rare sculptural door, shown, made from scraps of fine woods in the 1960s by the late Mabel Hutchinson; it has been reduced from $20,000 to $8,000. A ceramic mural by studio potter Brent Bennett, originally $2,200, is now $1,100. David Cressey’s iconic designs for Architectural Pottery have been marked down 40%. Also on sale: tables and chairs in a broad mix of styles. 816 N. La Cienega Blvd., (310) 854-1033, www.reform-modern.
