Orange County Supervisor Chris Norby remained hospitalized Wednesday for treatment of a blood clot in a lung, said his brother, Eric.
Chris Norby had recently sprained an ankle and had been working around his house when the clot apparently traveled from his leg into a lung, his brother said.
“He’s fine,” Eric Norby said, adding that the supervisor is in stable condition and being treated with blood thinners at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton.
Norby, 58, sought medical help at the hospital’s emergency ward after experiencing breathing difficulties late Tuesday.
