* San Antonio 102, at Chicago 80: Tony Parker scored 23 points and Tim Duncan had 22 and 10 rebounds as the Spurs avoided their first five-game losing streak since the 1996-97 season -- the one before Duncan’s rookie year.
* Boston 94, at Dallas 90: The Celtics improved their NBA-best record to 55-13 in dropping the Mavericks to 0-7 against teams with winning records since acquiring Jason Kidd.
* Lakers 106, at Utah 95: The Lakers ended the Jazz’s home winning streak at 19, one short of a franchise record.
