Suicide bomber kills at least 6

A suicide car bomber struck an armored vehicle carrying U.S. troops near the Kabul airport today, killing at least six Afghan civilians and wounding up to 20, officials said.
No American troops were badly injured, said Lt. Col. David Johnson, a spokesman for U.S. forces.
U.S. troops and international security contractors surrounded the area after the blast.
Several vehicles were damaged, including the targeted U.S. vehicle.
