Queens fire kills three, hurts 10

Their hair and clothes ablaze, people in a burning three-story New York City apartment building jumped from windows and ran to the downstairs delicatessen, whose owner doused them with jugs of water from his shelves. Three people died and at least 10 others, including firefighters, were injured.
Officials said the Queens fire was of suspicious origin.
