CBS dramas trade time slots
The CBS summer drama series “Flashpoint” and “Swingtown” will be switching time slots effective immediately, with “Flashpoint” airing at 10 p.m. Thursdays and “Swingtown” on at 10 p.m. Fridays.
“Flashpoint” won its Friday time slots both times it aired and finished 15th and 18th in the weekly ratings.
“Swingtown” has not done as well. CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said recently she was “a little disappointed” in the ratings for the drama about suburban married couples in the 1970s but added that no decision had been made about ordering additional episodes. It is averaging 6.52 million viewers.
