Razzie for Turan
AS THE founder-creator of the Razzie Awards, I rarely think any film critic is being too harsh, but in the case of Kenneth Turan’s overly vicious (and often off-the-mark) review of “Hancock,” I find myself thinking just that [“Self-Destructive,” July 1]. Although “Hancock” is hardly a perfect picture, it does feature three top-billed actors, all giving terrific performances. It has a plot that is anything but predictable. And it manages the enviable feat of being both laugh-out-loud funny and eye-mistingly moving.
