MEMOIR OF MOM

The death of Susan Sontag in 2004 from a particularly lethal form of leukemia is the subject of a new book, “Swimming in a Sea of Death,� penned by the sphinx-like intellectual heavyweight’s solitary offspring, journalist David Rieff.
