The Los Angeles Philharmonic is offering free orchestral ring tones and downloadable wallpapers formatted to fit on cellphone displays on its new mobile content store, part of the orchestra’s recently redesigned website.
The address of the mobile content store, which offers music by Beethoven, Berlioz, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius as well as images of Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, is www.laphil.com /mobile.
The site also features a music and musicians database and information about podcasts, among other features.
