Memorial service is set for Rimmon C. Fay
A memorial service for Rimmon C. Fay will be held at Venice Beach at 9 a.m. Jan. 20, weather permitting.
Friends plan to gather on the north side of the Venice breakwater near the lifeguard tower.
Fay was a longtime lifeguard, environmentalist and marine scientist.
He died Jan. 1 at age 78.
