L.A. kayaker is found dead in lake
The body of a kayaker was discovered Tuesday in Lake Elsinore shortly after he was reported missing by family members.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, lived in Los Angeles. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, said Riverside County sheriff’s deputies.
The kayaker was reported missing about 11:30 a.m. and his body was discovered about 15 minutes later, deputies said. He may have been inexperienced, said Deputy Javier Rodriguez.
