Puck stops here
The next time Tim Leiweke decides to speak with T.J. Simers and enlighten the masses with his hockey acumen while opining on the failure that is AEG’s ownership of the Kings, it should be printed in the comics section, where this mindless exchange belongs.
I do not honestly know which is more entertaining -- Simers ignoring the NHL 364 days of the year and then wondering why the media fails to cover the sport or Leiweke worrying about the viability of the Kings as if AEG has not spent the past 15 years systematically alienating the most loyal, energetic and vibrant local fan base.
If Leiweke does indeed hold the keys to the Kings as the headline implies, hasn’t the time come to change the locks?
