From Times Wire Services
AMC Entertainment Inc. said its fiscal third-quarter loss widened to $11.2 million, compared with a loss of $6.5 million in the year-earlier period.
Sales fell 6.3% to $559 million in the quarter, the Kansas City, Mo.-based movie theater chain said. Ticket and concession sales declined, AMC said. An 11% drop in attendance was partly offset by a 5.7% increase in ticket prices.
