Update: The Grizzlies are better than the team that lost 29 of its last 38 games last season. Third-year forward Rudy Gay leads a young, active team that has received a boost from rookie O.J. Mayo’s scoring punch (a team-high 20.3 points a game). The Lakers rarely have an easy time in Memphis, compiling a 3-6 record there the last five seasons.
