No trust in trust-fund types
Re “This isn’t her father’s Camelot,” Column One, Dec. 18
Effective and popular Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin was attacked by Democrats who claimed that she was not qualified for elective office.
Kennedy, who apparently has no experience at anything at all, is praised by her army of paid advisors and consultants and Democrats nationwide for her family name and connection to money.

As a native New Yorker living in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, I believe that you guys (or should that be youse guys?) hit the nail on the head with the Kennedy article. Right now, we have a trust-fund baby in the White House, and look how well that turned out.
In New York, we have a billionaire -- supposedly a business genius -- at the helm, and we’re as broke as a drunken sailor on Sunday morning. Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s only solution for everything is to raise taxes and cut services. Some business genius.
So why go with another trust-fund baby as senator? Because you can, indeed, fool all the people all the time.
