Prop. 8 pain

Re “Prop. 8 stance upends her life,” Column, Dec. 14

Margie Christoffersen has certainly suffered for her sin -- if that is in fact what it was. But let’s not forget that at least she still has all of her rights available to her.

Exercising her 1st Amendment rights has had consequences. But her inability to attend her restaurant on Thursday nights pales in comparison to the fact that many of her customers may never be able to marry because of Proposition 8. That’s a reality that has far greater consequences.
