Simmons back with Trojans

USC guard Marcus Simmons, who this week told Coach Tim Floyd that he intended to transfer to seek more playing time, has rejoined the Trojans.
Simmons, a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Louisiana, was hampered by an ankle injury as a freshman and had off-season surgery.
He hurt his ankle again last month against Tennessee Martin and is averaging two points and 11.6 minutes a game for the Trojans (5-3), who resume their schedule Monday against Pepperdine.
