‘Freaks and Geeks’: The Second Look column in the Nov. 23 Calendar section about the television program “Freaks and Geeks” and the films of director Wes Anderson credited Judd Apatow as the show’s creative force, with his friend Paul Feig (who went on to “The Office” and “Arrested Development”). Feig was the sole creator of the show and hired his friend and associate Apatow to produce it.
