Ex-NBC worker is sentenced in theft

A former employee in NBC Universal Inc.’s treasury department was sentenced to 21 months in prison for helping steal $238,000 and using some of the money to pay credit card bills.
James Walsh, 35, must also pay “substantial” restitution, U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel said at Walsh’s sentencing in federal court in Manhattan.
