Bond devotee is truly driven

A Lotus sports car featured in the James Bond movie “The Spy Who Loved Me” sold Monday for $166,000 in London.

The white 1976 Lotus Esprit was sold on the telephone to a collector from Atlanta, who described himself as “a Lotus and James Bond aficionado,” the Bonhams auction house said.

The Esprit comes complete with a faux surface-to-air-missile button on the gearstick.
