Hotel revitalization: An article in the July 10 California section about the Beverly Hilton Revitalization Project said the developer’s plan would replace the Hilton with a 12-story Waldorf-Astoria hotel with 47 fewer rooms. Under the plan, the Hilton would be renovated, resulting in 217 fewer rooms, and a new Waldorf-Astoria building would be added to the property, for an overall reduction of 47 rooms.
