Thornburg files to sell notes

Thornburg Mortgage Securities Corp. filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell as much as $15 billion of asset-backed certificates and notes.
The certificates will represent interests in a pool of assets, which may in turn include mortgages, home-equity loans and mortgage-backed securities, according to an amended registration statement filed with the SEC.
