Update -- Friday’s Chivas practice session ended with three starters on the bench. Chivas enters this game with three forwards who are not 100% and one midfielder who sat out most of Friday’s session because of a groin injury. Also, defender Claudio Suarez will sit out his second game because he is in Mexico mourning the death of his father. The injuries, which seem to be piling up for Chivas, might open a spot in the starting lineup for off-season signee Rapahel Wicky. Real Salt Lake, which entered the league with Chivas in 2005, has yet to make an impact. Chivas holds an 11-2-3 advantage in the series.
