Cal State Northridge (4-0) vs. Duquesne (5-0) at Des Moines, Iowa, 3 p.m. -- The Matadors are off to their best start since 1983-84. They are averaging 90.8 points and are shooting 49.4%. They will play either North Carolina Central or Drake on Sunday in the Iowa Realty Invitational. Duquesne leads the nation in scoring at 95.2 a game.
Pepperdine (3-4) vs. Texas-Pan American (4-2) at Bozeman, Mont., 4 p.m. -- The Waves have won three consecutive games and scored 90 points or more in each game during the streak. They will play either Montana State or Alcorn State in the second game of the two-day Montana State GranTree Inn Classic.
Cal State Fullerton (3-1) at Montana (5-2), 7 p.m. -- The Titans are coming off their first loss, but forward Scott Cutley made his season debut after missing the first three games because of a broken ankle. He had four points and three rebounds in 12 minutes.

USC (2-2) at Cal State Fullerton (1-3), 7 p.m. -- After a 65-64 win over Virginia Tech in the first round of the Junkaroo Jam last weekend in the Bahamas and then nearly upsetting No. 8 Georgia before falling, 59-57, the Trojans returned home to the news that 6-foot-3 junior Nadia Parker was named Pacific 10 player of the week. For Fullerton, junior forward Toni Thomas (Fontana Miller HS) is averaging 23.8 points and 8.0 rebounds.
