‘Success’ in Iraq

Re “Goals for Iraq still not in reach,” May 29

I was intrigued by this article on Iraq and the attempts by U.S. military leaders to seek “ways to redefine success.”

How about:

A) a complete disaster.

B) an idiotic choice by an utter incompetent.

C) a loss overseas.

D) an expensive defeat.
