Enough with the distracting logos
SO many wonderful new programs on television like “The Closer,” and “Saving Grace.” Spectacular writing, superb acting and yet, the cable networks that air them insist on putting a large logo in the corner of the screen that lingers through the entire show and is a major distraction. Sometimes a banner explodes across the bottom of the screen and comes to life, letters and people running around to advertise another program on the same channel.
I have a suggestion: Bring on the logo when the commercials are over, fade it out and leave it off. Please let us watch these shows the way the producers, directors and writers meant them to be seen.
