KUSC-FM (91.5) for the first time will begin broadcasting selected Los Angeles Philharmonic concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, beginning Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. and continuing Saturday afternoons through Oct. 6.
There will be about a four-week delay from the date of the concert to the broadcast date. The first program, with conductor Leonard Slatkin and violin soloist Gil Shaham in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, took place July 10.
KUSC-FM already broadcasts selected concerts by the Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
