A woman whose body was found in an orange grove Tuesday was identified by a family member as Sherri Suzanne Moore, 38, of Riverside and Highgrove.
Agricultural workers found the body, which was wrapped in cloth, in the Arlington Heights section of Riverside. After police described the woman’s tattoos, which included the Disney character Goofy standing on top of a red rose on her inner ankle, the family member contacted police.
Police are still investigating Moore’s whereabouts since her disappearance and the circumstances of her death.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Riverside police at (951) 353-7103 or (951) 353-7137.
