Palestinian former minister released

The Israeli military released a former Palestinian Cabinet minister swept up in a West Bank raid in May, saying he had agreed to renounce his Hamas membership.
The Cabinet to which Education Minister Nasser Shaer belonged was dismissed by President Mahmoud Abbas after Hamas’ military victory in Gaza.
