When insight is like a symphony

I read Mark Swed’s [article], “Symphonic After All These Years” (June 24) and, as usual, it is very well written and insightful.

I love the mini-music history lessons that he includes in many of his reviews.

I used to wonder if the Los Angeles Times would find someone who could fill Martin Bernheimer’s shoes.

Clearly, Swed has done so and then some.
